GISBOROUGH Priory will turn into Rydell High next weekend when rock 'n' roll hits from the musical Grease are performed on an outdoor stage.
The organisers expect many of the audience to join in by dressing up in 1950s costumes.
And Jane Shearer, from Redcar and Cleveland Council events team, got in the Grease mood earlier this week, with a little help from David Bennett.
She had a ride in Mr Bennett's immaculately restored 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood, dressed in Fifties clothes and wig.
Mr Bennett bought his red and white Cadillac ten years ago, taking five years to restore it, and it is a regular on the area's roads, but only in the summer.
The Grease event is on Saturday, July 9, and is followed by a picnic in the park the next day, with music from the 20-piece band, Musicians Unlimited.
Tickets for both shows, priced £12 adults and £8 concessions, are available from the tourist information centres at Redcar 01642 471921, Guisborough 01287 633801 and Saltburn 01287 622422, plus TICs in Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool.
