REHEARSALS for the musical Guys and Dolls are in full swing at a community centre.
Egglescliffe Community Centre is being transformed to echo the atmosphere of downtown New York in the 1930s.
The Centre Stage group is producing the show, written and composed by Frank Loesser.
The performance is directed and produced by Maureen Tait, with Alan Mitchell as musical director.
Other contributors include Michelle Smith, who as well as playing the Hat Box Dancer is the choreographer, Linda Cuthbert as stage manager and Dave Grimshaw as set designer.
The performances take place at the Egglescliffe Community Centre, Durham Lane, Eaglescliffe, from Monday to Saturday, July 9. The weekday performances start at 7pm, the Saturday show at 6.30pm.
