OLDER people who face discrimination at work were offered help in Darlington yesterday.
Daisy Day, an annual event to help people who feel opportunities are restricted because of their age, was held in the Market Square.
The advice stall was staffed by members of Growing Older Living in Darlington (Gold), and staff from JobCentre Plus and Morrisons Training.
There was also live music, dancing and entertainment throughout the day.
Bryan Thistlethwaite, Darlington Borough Council cabinet member for adult services said: "Daisy Day is a fun and informative day for anyone over 50 living or working in Darlington. The day is a great chance to find out more about what is on offer in the borough to make life more full and active."
