A JAZZ concert is being held at Bolton Castle, near Leyburn, to raise money for charity.
The Wensleydale Stompers are playing at the castle on Sunday at 7pm.
The event has been organised by the Wensleydale committee for Action Medical Research after similar events at the castle in the previous two years attracted capacity audiences.
Tickets for the concert cost £10, including a two-course supper. They are available from Towler's newsagents in Leyburn, or by ringing (01677) 422879 or (01969) 663457.
Committee chairman Michael Mason said: "People from as far away as Teesside and Wharfedale have asked for tickets. Bolton Castle, in its beautiful setting, is an ideal venue for a summer evening of music.
"We are most grateful to Lord Bolton for giving us permission to use it."
The Wensleydale Stompers were founded by John Iggleden eight years ago and play regularly at the Bolton Arms, Leyburn, and at special events.
