A GROUP of school children took a step back in time when they visited the World of James Herriot.
Twelve youngsters from Aysgarth Pre-Prep School donned 1940s style costumes during an educational visit to the Thirsk-based attraction.
The seven and eight year olds checked out the old veterinary surgery, spent time in the interactive gallery and took part in a cookery workshop during their day at the centre.
The pupils are pictured with "James Herriot" in his sitting room.
