PEOPLE who want to work for Darlington Football Club are invited to a recruitment day.
The football club's new season ticket package has been popular and early indications show an increase in sales.
This, combined with the opening of corporate areas, means the club is planning to expand its workforce.
Part-time staff are required for match days and there are part-time positions in catering, kitchen work, bar work, stewarding, door staff and security. The recruitment day will be from noon until 8pm on Thursday.
This event will also be a re-registration session for staff who worked in these positions last season.
Fans' carveries have been brought in this year to give season ticket holders a greater feeling of belonging to the club.
Chairman Stewart Davies said: "The introduction of the fans' carveries means we will need more staff to work on match days to ensure we can professionally cater for what we hope will become a popular pre-match ritual for many fans.
"There has been a very enthusiastic response to the season ticket package in general which leads us to believe that we are going to need more staff on our books generally, so we are giving people the chance to come in and find out more about the jobs and our negotiable rates. We will also be providing full pre-season training for our off the pitch staff, as well as those who will be performing on it."
