POLICE are trying to find a woman who has not been in contact with her family or friends for almost three weeks.
Officers say Rachel George, 35, has been missing before, but it is out of character for her to not have contact with her family and friends for so long.
She went missing from the Redcar area last month. Her disappearance was reported to police on Sunday, February 28.
Officers believe she could be in the Newcastle area but she has previously been found in the Durham area.
Miss George is white, 5ft 2ins tall, with a fair complexion, blue eyes, of stocky build and has short, red hair.
She is on medication but it is not known if she has it with her.
