BEATEN RIVALS: Stephen Hall, 15, who won a competition to see his rug design go into production
A TEENAGER has beaten off tough competition to see his rug design go into production.
Stephen Hall, 15, who attends Ian Ramsey CE School, in Stockton, was one of dozens of pupils who took up the challenge to design a rug for The Funky Rug Shop, in the town.
He chose a natural theme and was presented with the first rug at an assembly yesterday.
The rug is on sale in the Stockton store.
Natasha Rodrigues, Sally Messham and Lindsay Murray, all aged 15, were runners-up and received book tokens.
