DARLINGTON Civic Theatre hosted a group of visually impaired children at its matinee performance of Aladdin on Saturday.
The children were greeted by the star of the pantomime, X Factor’s Chico, and other members of the production.
A theatre spokeswoman said: “In order to enhance their experience, the theatre organised for the children to take part in a touch tour of the stage, during which they explored the different sets, props, and costumes that are used.
“After the touch tour, the children enjoyed an audio-described matinee performance of the show.”
Aladdin will run until Sunday. Tickets are £11.50 to £19, with concessions available, on 01325-486555.
