Elf is a film directed by Jon favrea and written by David Berenbaum. It was released in the United States on November 7 2003. Buddy is the main character who thinks he is an elf, but then the real elves tell him the truth and say he isn’t an elf. And send him to find his dad in New York. Buddy’s dad is on the naughty list! Buddy likes sugar and decides to put maple syrup onto everything he eats including spaghetti. I think the film is very funny and I would recommend this film to kids aged 12-whatever this film is a great film to watch with the family near Christmas time. The cast will Ferrell as BUDDY !!, Bob Newhart as papa elf , Edward Asner as Santa , James Caan as Walter Hobbs ( Buddy’s dad ) , Zooey Deschanel as jovie ( Buddy likes her) , Mary Steenburgen As Emily ( Buddy’s Dad’s wife) , Daniel Tay as Michael ( Buddy’s Brother) , Faizon Love as the manager of the shop gimbles , Peter Dinklage as Miles Finch ( Buddy’s enemy who works in Gimbles ) 1. Plus many more people who work in the Gimbles Store. The music is played by john Debney. The soundtracks include the following ...
