I think we can all agree that Cockfield Christmas lights look better and better every year and, it’s all down to a small group of people who put a lot of time and effort into fundraising, that make it possible.
Chatting with Christine Watters today, she was telling me how the ’Cockfield Community Christmas Decorations Lighting Committee’ are looking for some new blood.
Vacancies have become available for committee members, including a ‘Chairperson’.
Christine explained that “To enable us to continue with our fundraising for our Christmas lights we must have support from residents otherwise our committee will cease to exist.”
So, if anyone fancies helping out on the committee, they should contact Christine on 01388 710141.
The Annual General Meeting is to be held on Wednesday 10th February 2010 at 7pm in Cockfield Methodist Church.
