TWO men have been arrested following an incident at a North-East nightclub which has left a teenager fighting for his life.
The 30-year-old and the 45- year-old, both from the Darlington area, have been arrested in connection with an incident at Inside Out, in Darlington’s Beaumont Street, where 19-year-old Nathan Allen sustained serious head injuries. They have been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Mr Allen, from the Skerne Park area of Darlington, is in a critical condition in The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, following the incident in early hours of Sunday morning. He has not regained consciousness and his family have remained by his side around the clock.
Police think the teenager received his injuries after he fell down the club’s stairs when attempting to re-enter the after being ejected following an altercation.
