A POPULAR children’s author signed copies of his books for young readers as part of an acclaimed book festival.
Chris Goy signed books from his Terry, the Torus and the Tumblestones series in Waterstone’s, Durham City, during Durham Book Festival.
Mr Goy was also promoting a contest giving youngsters the chance to be turned into characters in the next instalment in the series, to be titled The Guardian of the Past.
To win, children should say, in 100 words or less, who their favourite character was from the first book, The Seven Stones, and why.
