DOZENS of people have been showing off their best side, ahead of having their faces projected in a city.
Huge portraits of 100 people will be projected onto buildings in Durham Market Place for the Heart of the City event.
The show, which will also feature a commissioned soundtrack, will form part of next month’s Lumiere light festival.
Yesterday, Durham photographer Steven Landles was taking pictures for the project in Clayport Library, in Millennium Place, Durham.
Lumiere will take place from November 12 to 15.
It is hoped the festival will boost Durham’s bid to be named UK City of Culture 2013.
