POLICE are urgently seeking a young man who has gone missing from his home in the region.

Oliver John Corbett, pictured, 24, of Dishforth, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, was last seen on Sunday, at 3pm.

His parents say the disappearance is out of character for Mr Corbett who is believed to be driving a red Nissan Micra.

He is white, about 6ft, of medium build, and with short, fair hair.

He was wearing jeans and a dark, fleece top when he vanished.

Police think Mr Corbett could be in the Yorkshire or Cumbria areas.
