FIVE fire crews were called to a house blaze in Northallerton last night.
The fire is thought to have started in a garage at a property on St James Drive, but then spread to the house.
All of the occupants managed to escape from the blaze, and no-one was injured.
The extent of the damage is not yet clear.
Fire-crews were called to the scene at 10.30pm.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the fire was extinguished fairly quickly.
Fire investigators are now examining the property to find out how the blaze started.
