A WOMAN driver suffered neck injuries when her when her Vauxhall Vectra was in collision with a Citroen C5 at Eldon Crossroads near Bishop Auckland this afternoon.
Firefighters cut the roof from the Citroen to free a woman passenger who had hurt her back.
Both women were taken by separate ambulances to Darlington Memorial Hospital, where their condition is not known.
