I've just heard Ian Payne on Tyne Tees TV promising a "full report" on Gordon Strachan taking over at Middlesbrough.
It's something journalists do a lot - but what exactly does the phrase mean?
Imagine if Tyne Tees was promising an incomplete report on one of the stories of the day.
"Here is the news...later we'll be bringing you half the story of Gordon Strachan taking over at the Boro -and don't expect any more."
