I READ that Chris Hughton has been offered the post of Manager of Newcastle United To say I was thoroughly disgusted would be an understatement.
Unfortunately, in my own opinion, his knowledge of tactics etc is abysmal.
I feel he is being offered the job as a puppet to Mr Ashley, who will no doubt pay him peanuts.
Will Mr Ashley give him some of the £30m plus that he accrued in his summer sales of top Newcastle players?
As long as Mr Ashley owns Newcastle United, they will be going nowhere (probably League One) Furthermore, this is the worst Newcastle team that I have seen, in over 40 years of support. They will NOT get promoted this year and will struggle to stay in the top half of the league.
