A BUSY road was closed for more than four hours after a petrol tanker and car collided near Northallerton.
The accident took place at Warlaby crossroads around 7am this morning.
It involved a tanker and a Peugeot 306 car. The fire brigade, police, ambulance, county highways and the Environment Agency attended.
Diversions were put in place for drivers.
The car driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
