There’s a couple of decent Saturday nights coming up in the Middle House this month.
Firstly this weekend, (Sat 24th Oct) it’s the Cockfield Quoits Club presentation night. It’s always a good night, singer, (Kris Atkins) buffet AND we get to find out who won what, including the dreaded ‘wooden spoon’! ALL are welcome.
The following Saturday (31st Oct) there’s the annual fancy dress HALLOWEEN PARTY!
Now rumour has it there’ll be a strong turnout for this year’s event. I’ve been contacted by a few people to let me know they’re going, including Jeff Sparks, whose promising a spectacular fancy dress outfit!
Fancy dress can be anything you like; it doesn’t have to be Halloween based, so anything from a Caveman to a Roman Emperor is fine!
Commitments to my wedding anniversary will keep me away but we hope to get back in time for some of the fun and besides, I recon there’ll be a few good photo opportunities for the blog!
The pub will be ‘themed out’ for the evening and there’s Karaoke, so I expect a good time will be had by all.
The fun starts at 8-00pm.
