Husband and Wife team offering domestic services!

An Easington husband and wife team have set up their own domestic services business.

Mum of three, Emma Dundon, 31 and 42 year old Rod, decided to set up a joint cleaning and laundry service R.E.D.S - an abbreviation of Rod and Emma’s Domestic Services.

R.E.D.S. offer a laundry service which includes, washing and ironing which is delivered back to the customer as quick as they can return it.

They also help with shopping for customers, home delivery and packing it away.

Emma has had lots of experience in the industry through working for the elderly cleaning houses, shopping, laundry and has also worked as a cleaner at a local doctor`s surgery, while husband Rod, assists with the day to day running of the business doing the book keeping and delivering laundry.

Rod said: "This has always been an ambition of my wife Emma. I am behind her a 110% and I am really hoping the business takes off in the near future."

Emma added: “We are really excited about setting up our own business as it’s been an ambition of mine for many years. LEGI helped us a lot, and have been brilliant. And they haven’t pushed us into anything.”

Redcar’s Enterprise team helped fund a vacuum cleaner, press, cleaning equipment, and bags displaying their personalized names.
