ONE person was treated for chemical burns after a road accident at Northgate, Headland, Hartlepool.
The incident happened around 6.20pm last night.
Three fire engines and an emergency tender were called to the scene. The casualty was treated by paramedics at the scene and firefighters removed a paint stripping chemical.
