Just got back from speaking to the Women's Institute in the chapel at Witton-le-Wear.
There was a bit of a lown turnout and Sheila Tock, the chairman, explained why.
"There'd have been more ladies here but you clashed with Cliff Richard at Newcastle Arena," she said.
I was sorely tempted to give them my own rendition of Devil Woman but I thought better of it.
