SMASH and grab raiders got away with a dozen LCD televisions valued at £200 each at the weekend.
They were taken from a commercial unit on the Aycliffe Business Park , County Durham.
Driving a white, open-backed twin cab pick-up, they struck shortly after 6.30pm on Friday evening.
They were spotted reversing the vehicle at speed into the unit’s shutter doors and forcing them open.
Three men are then believed to have loaded the televisions into the back of the van before it was driven off towards Horndale Avenue.
All the televisions have 23 inch screens are made by NEON.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the raid, been offered cheap televisions, or knows anything about the incident.
