A WELL known photographer who has shot images for the National Trust is showing off his work to diners in a restaurant.
Joe Cornish is exhibiting his work in a display called Water and Stone: Essence of Yorkshire based at Lockwoods Restaurant, Ripon.
Mr Cornish uses the landscapes of Northern England for his inspiration and his work is on show from July 8.
The photographer will be at the North Street based restaurant from noon to 5pm on July 12 to meet those viewing his work.
Mr Cornish said: "I am delighted to be sharing my love of landscape, of wild places, and of creative artistic photography in a venue such as Lockwoods."
He has travelled widely for the National Trust and specialises on the coastline and he was made an honorary fellow of the Royal Photographic Society in 2008.
Matthew Lockwood, restaurant owner, said: "I am delighted we will be exhibiting Joe Cornish’s outstanding and inspiring photography to add to the Lockwoods experience."
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 11pm and people can visit to view the work without eating there.
