I'm suffering from "Michael Jackson Overload". I honestly can't figure out what all the fuss is about? "King of Pop"? Hmm, maybe in some people's opinions, but certainly not in mine.

At least some of the online celebrity sites have now started to run a few other stories. I imagine this MJ drama will continue though on and on for years, until the children's custody is worked out and the will is sorted and all the finances are worked out. I can only hope they don't continue to report every little tiny happening in the news and tabloids.

I feel bad that Farrah Fawcett, who unfortunately died the same day, is barely getting any coverage. Farrah was a true cultural icon in the USA and was adored by millions. My brother had the famous poster in his room and I watched "Charlies Angels" faithfully every week.

A friend of mine tried to copy the hairstyle and dragged me along to the posh hairdressers in Jamestown , NY and spent a lot of money trying to coax her hair into a "Farrah". She was under the delusion that she looked like her idol and she even tried to copy her speech patterns. Sad really!

Michael Jackson was an odd man who aspired to be white. I guess he had talent, but I can't say I liked any of his songs at all and I certainly didn't like his dangling babies over railings to get publicity.

Yes, I'm sorry he's dead. No one deserves to die suddenly at age 50, but, let's not get carried away by his death. The media needs to get a life and stop revealing sordid details about celebrities and leaking autopsy reports.

Sometimes, I wish I could go back to the 50's when stars were REAL stars and they'd never go out with no underwear on or be photographed falling out of a bar. Time machine, take me away......
