THE first batches of swine flu vaccine are expected to arrive in the UK by August.
The Health Secretary Andy Burnham told the Commons that the Government could no longer contain the spread of the virus.
By December around 60m doses of vaccine are expected to be available - enough to treat half the population.
Mr Burnham said the UK could see as many as 100,000 new cases per day by August.
