BUSTER Keaton, George Formby and David Niven are among the star-studded line-up appearing at a North Yorkshire cinema's week-long comedy festival.
Thirsk's Ritz cinema is to host the specially selected film classics from July 17-23.
Supported by the Thirsk Regeneration Initiative the comedy festival aims to provide a boost to the local economy.
The movies showing are the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Casino Royale with David Niven, Buster Keaton classic Steamboat Bill Junior, the little-seen fifties British comedy Miss Robin Hood, George Formby in No Limits, Billy Liar and The Full Monty.
They all start at 7.30pm with tickets £5 for adults and concessions £3.50 with details at www.ritzcinema.co.uk
