A MAN who had racked up debts after losing his job was found dead at the foot of cliffs after going missing, an inquest heard.
Michael Naeem Malik was last seen on the afternoon of Sunday, February 8, after visiting his family in Stockton.
The 39-year-old was discovered by a bird watcher on the cliffside between Skinningrove and Saltburn in east Cleveland, on March 15 this year.
Pathologist Nigel Cooper told Teesside Coroner's Court that the father-of-two Mr Malik had suffered non-survivable head injuries as a result of the fall from the 200ft cliffs.
Teesside Coroner Michael Sheffield recorded an open verdict.
