Garden and allotment owners are being urged to look after the safety of their garden shed this summer.
As part of National Shed Week, which starts Monday, the Hambleton Community Safety Partnership are advising home owners to take care to lock up their sheds and garages and not leave toys or tools lying around.
As part of Shed Week, the partnership has a number of special key pad shed alarms available for Hambleton residents.
The alarms are £7 each from district council offices in Northallerton, Stokesley and Easingwold. Anyone wanting an alarm must bring proof of residence, a utility bill or driving licence, with them.
