A HISTORIC country house is to host the Alfa Romeo Owner's Club annual rally day for fans of the classic car to visit.
The event is at Newby Hall, near Ripon, and it promises to be the largest gathering of Alfa Romeos anywhere in the country this year.
There will be vintage pre-1940 models and a Alfasud model through to the most recent MiTo models on show.
There will also be a car buying and selling area and a special tent to give a taste of Italy.
Stuart Gill, Newby Hall's administrator, said: "If you are a car lover, then this is a wonderful event - you will see the widest range of classic Alfa Romeo's, and if you are an Alfa driver, you can even participate in a driving skills Auto Test.
"Owners of vintage Alfas will have a chance to showcase their vehicles in the club's National Concours d'Elegance competition, with categories for cars of all ages."
The Alfa Romeo day is on Sunday, July 5, from 10am to 4pm with entry £7.50 for adults, £6.50 for seniors, £5.50 for children and under-fours free.
Admission to the event also includes entry into Newby Hall's extensive gardens and grounds and for details contact Newby Hall on 01423-322583 or visit www.newbyhall.com.
