A 15-YEAR-OLD mountain biker was airlifted to hospital tonight after falling heavily in woods.
The boy, from New Marske, was with friends in Errington Woods between Guisborough and Marske when he was injured at 7pm.
Ambulance crews called out Cleveland Search and Rescue Team and 20 members helped carry the youth clear of the woods.
He was flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for treatment by the Cleveland Police helicopter.
His injuries were described as "potentially serious".
