THE producers of a market town’s Christmas play are looking for actors to bring the production to life.
A variation on "A Christmas Carol" will be staged, in Bedale, in December.
Organisers Richard Boyton and Mal Rowland want to hear from budding thespians - male and female - aged from ten upwards.
Mr Rowland said: "The parts vary in size and are not exhaustive.
"Yes there are lines to learn, but there aren’t so many that it is a chore.
"There are several non-speaking parts to be had as well."
Back stage roles are also available.
One key role, which is presenting a slight problem, is that of a fiddler.
The production will be held in St Gregory’s Church, from December 9 to 11.
Music will be provided by the recorded voices of Bedale Festival Choir.
The music consists of well known Christmas carols, so a good story and well known carols, provide an original beginning to that magical period in everyone’s life – Christmas.
For more details, call Mr Rowland, on 01677-423281.
