A MILITARY museum is celebrating Armed Forces Day with events for all ages.
The family day will be held at the Durham Light Infantry (DLI) Museum, in Durham, on Sunday, June 28, beginning at 10.30am. At 11am a ceremony will be held during which North Durham MP Kevan Jones will present veterans with badges.
There will also be a climbing wall, a military arts workshops, face painting, a bouncy castle and craft stalls.
There will be a display of military vehicles, characters dressed in 1940s uniforms and the Durham Constabulary Band will play from 2pm.
Sculptor Laura Ford will display a bronze titled Armour Boys.
Entry to the museum is free throughout the day and the event closes at 4pm. For more information, call the museum on 0191-384-2214.
