USED items have inspired art for an exhibition.
Old and obsolete objects will be used as the base for drawings, films and photographs for the Shock of the Used display.
The exhibition brings together artists Steven Walker, Toby Lloyd and Iain Harker, in their first UK collaborative show.
Mr Walker’s work examines the day-to-day act of throwing out the old, obsolete and dead by using discarded objects to inspire art.
Mr Lloyd’s work questions how we attribute value to items we buy.
Mr Harker’s photographic series The Food Front presents an imagined future where industry is flourishing, but agriculture has been decimated.
The exhibition, in Empty Shop, outside The Gates shopping centre, Durham City, runs until tomorrow.
