WORK to recreate the Monks' Walk through Gisborough Priory was given a boost when a team of volunteers turned up to lend a hand.
In the shade of the magnificent lime trees, the willing helpers transplanted wild garlic and other plants to nearby areas to turn the clock back to the 18th Century.
Carol Robinson, who is co-ordinating the project, said: "Helping out on an environmental project is a great way to learn new skills and at the same time do something really worthwhile."
