A WOMAN found with serious facial injuries in a North Yorkshire house is still in intensive care in hospital.
Named locally as Margaret Barlow, she was found at the bottom of the stairs at her home in Ingleby Arncliffe, near Northallerton, last Tuesday by her 11-year-old son.
She was airlifted to the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, by the Great North Air Ambulance.
She is believed to be a midwife at the same hospital and was in a serious but stable condition today.
