A WOMAN found with serious facial injuries in a North Yorkshire house is still in intensive care at hospital.
Named locally as Margaret Barlow, she was found at the bottom of the stairs at her home in Ingleby Arncliffe, near Northallerton.
It is believed her 11-year-old son found her on Tuesday, June 16, as he came home from Ingleby Arncliffe Junior School at 4.10pm.
She was airlifted to the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, by the Great North Air Ambulance.
She is believed to be a midwife at the same hospital and she was in a serious but stable condition on Monday, June 22.
Mrs Barlow recently separated from her husband named by villagers as Steve and she has an older daughter at Stokesley School.
