A FREEFALL parachute team dropped into Catterick Garrison Army base to wow crowds as part of an open day.
The Black Knights Freefall Parachute Display Team landed at the event held at Marne Barracks on Saturday.
Recognised as one of the top display teams in the country, the Black Knights, of 14 Regiment Royal Artillery, have a number of routines.
There was also a display by the 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment and the Richmondshire Area Motorcycle Project.
Visitors also enjoyed a funfair, bouncy castle and trade stands.
Open day organiser Major Steve Robinson said: “Although these are very busy times for the British Army as a whole, the servicemen and women based at Catterick Garrison really look forward to putting on a first class open day and enjoy it as much as the visitors.”
