POLICE in Bishop Auckland are trying to trace a pensioner who went missing from his home last night.
Bob Shaw, 77, was last seen at the house he shares with his daughter and her family, in St John’s Walk, Escomb, just after 7am on June 18.
At 8.20am on Thursday morning, CCTV footage shows Mr Shaw getting off the Number one Arriva bus, in Darlington, near the White Heifer pub, in the West Park area.
Mr Shaw was last seen wearing a zipped shell-suit type top, which is yellow on the bottom, and darkcoloured on the top, with a dark blue polo shirt with stripes around the top.
Sergeant Nicola Lawrence, from Durham Constabulary, said: “His family are very concerned for his well-being as he needs medication and hasn’t taken any with him.”
Anyone with information should call Bishop Auckland police on 0345-60-60-365.
