POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a series of thefts from cars parked at a theme park in the region.
A total of 15 cars have been broken into at Lightwater Valley, near Ripon, North Yorkshire, in the past three weeks.
North Yorkshire police is particularly interested in the following dates: Friday, May 29; Saturday, June 6; Sunday, June 7 and Saturday, June 13.
Officers also want to hear from are anyone else who may have been a victim of this type of crime over these dates and who have not reported it.
It is thought that either a Nissan Micra or Skoda Octavia was involved in the thefts.
* A 24-year-old man from the Durham area has been arrested in connection with the thefts and released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
