A THREE-DAY flower festival is to be held next month.
Gardens To Delight is to be held at Waddington Street United Reformed Church, in Durham City, from July 4 to 6 with arrangements created by church members.
Admission is £1 by programme and the church will be open to visitors from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, July 4; from 12.30pm to 4pm on Saturday, July 5 and from 10am to 4pm on Monday, July 6. Refreshments are available and everyone is welcome.
The festival will get underway at 7.30pm on Friday, July 3 with a concert entitled Everything’s Coming Up Roses, featuring Delia McNally and Eileen Glenton.
Tickets for the gala evening are £6, including buffet supper, and are available on 0191-384 2448 or on the door.
