DISCUSSION show Question Time is being held at Nissan's Sunderland factory tonight.
The BBC One television show, hosted by David Dimbleby, comes from the plant's sports and conference centre, and will be screended at 10.35pm.
Panellists on the show included Conservative shadow secretary for business Kenneth Clarke, Liberal Democrat foreign affairs spokesman Edward Davey, political commentator Polly Toynbee, journalist and campaigner Esther Rantzen.
Gary Collin, General Manager of the Centre said: "This is the first time the plant has hosted an event such as this and we're delighted to have been the chosen North-East venue on this occasion.
"The Sports and Conference Centre, which opened in 1991 provides both indoor and outdoor multi use facilities to the wider community and business audience.
"With a capacity of 800, the Sports Centre is fast becoming the home for many prestigious and diverse events including exhibitions, community sporting and social events."
