A HOSPICE is hosting an event to thank its volunteers for their work.
St Cuthbert’s Hospice, in Durham, will host a volunteers’ and staff barbecue in hospice grounds on Friday, July 10.
More than 360 volunteers and 50 staff help the hospice provide free care for people with life-limiting illnesses.
Angela Dinsdale, hospice chief executive, said: "We simply could not continue to provide our special kind of care to members of the local community without the overwhelming support and hard work from people in every facet of the hospice’s work - from our nursing staff to our volunteers in the shops, reception and gardens.
"We hope to see all of our dedicated volunteers and staff at the part on 10th July, which will be a chance for us to show our immense appreciation."
Places are limited. To book, call Sarah Lee on 0191-386-1170.
