ENTHUSIASTIC gardeners are throwing open their gates to let all enjoy the fruits of their labours.
Some 16 local gardens and two schools are taking part in the Stokesley Open Gardens event on January 27 and 28, from 1pm to 5pm daily.
The Stokesley support group of Teesside Hospice organise the event every two years and in 2006 they raised more than £4,000.
Every style, size and type of garden is on show. Some gardeners offer refreshments and a variety of stalls including plants and cakes.
Admission to the gardens is by programme only. They cost £3.50 and give details of all of the gardens, including a location map.
Programmes can be purchased from Teesside Hospice’s charity shop on Bridge Road, Deli by the Green on the High Street and Brown’s Newsagent on East End Road - all in Stokesley.
They will also be available during the weekend in the Old Market Square, Stokesley.
