A CAR passenger is fighting for his life following a crash at the weekend.
He suffered serious injuries when the car he was travelling in collided with a BMW.
And police are looking for witnesses to the accident involving a Blue Ford Focus and a Silver BMW on Beckfields Avenue, Ingleby Barwick, at 9.15pm on Saturday night.
The driver of the BMW and three people in the Ford Focus were injured.
The BMW driver and two occupants from the Ford Focus were taken to James Cook University Hospital and a passenger from the Ford Focus has been detained in intensive care, where his condition is described as critical.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact PC Alex Nisbet at Cleveland Police on 01642-301552.
Officers would specifically like to speak to a group of young people who were waiting at the bus stop at the junction with Priorwood Gardens who they believe may have seen the collision.
