POLICE found cocaine and cannabis concealed in plastic bags in an alleyway behind the home of a drug dealer, a court heard.
They also discovered scales containing traces of cocaine at the home of Anthony Maddison in Wilson Street, Guisborough, east Cleveland, during the raid on August 28 last year.
Prosecuting at Teesside Crown Court, Ian West said mobile phones were seized at the property which had text messages from people wanting drugs, one asking: "Got any sniff?".
In all 1.26 grams of cocaine were found along with 379 grams of cannabis resin.
Maddison was arrested and interviewed by police and told them he sold "a bit" to a few mates. His barrister Alex Bousfield said he had now resolved his difficulties with drugs and was now seeking work.
Maddison, 23, who admitted two counts of possessing drugs with intent to supply, was jailed for three years by Judge Peter Armstrong.
