Ferryhill Town Council has launched a brochure detailing the services provided by the council.
The council provides 25 different services for the people of Ferryhill at a cost of £2.54 per week. Services include parks, toilets, allotments and the E-Café. The council is asking residents for their views and comments on services the council provides.
Leader of the council, Pat McCourt said, “It is amazing how much we actually do, partly due to the amount of grant funding the council is able to attract. We do not receive funding from central government, our income comes from council tax alone”.
The service booklet and comments forms are available from the town hall. Alternatively, you can download the same by logging on to the council’s web-site, www.ferryhill.gov.uk.
