A REDCAR businesswoman is celebrating a hat-trick of four-star awards from Visit Britain to recognise her welcoming style.
Janice Buxton's Springdale House in Nelson Terrace is the only guest house in Redcar to receive the prestigious four-star status for the third year running.
She said: "I'm immensely proud of achieving the four-star accolade and to do so for the third successive year is an absolutely fantastic reward for a terrific amount of very hard work put in by everyone involved."
Redcar-born Janice opened the guest house in May 2005 when she returned to her home town after a 20 year spell living in the South, where she ran a number of florist shops.
She added: "I was determined to offer my guests a luxury standard of accommodation. Be it for business or pleasure, I want my guests to not only enjoy their time in Redcar but more importantly, have a memorable stay."
